Our Team
Stones Plumbing Service employee fully qualified plumbers, apprentice plumbers, labourers, office support staff and specialist contractors. Our team of over 18 personnel, utilise simPRO fleet management software to stay connected on the road and in the office.
Together we can complete any project large or small from start to finish in the upmost professional and friendly manner.
All of our technicians hold all the relevant tickets, qualifications and verifications of competency including RIW, Construction Induction cards, Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform.
Stones also has specialised technicians that hold Plumbing and Drainage, Gas Fitting, Roofing, TMV, Backflow, Confined Space Entry, rescue, fire services, disconnect re-connect and other high risk work certifications.
All of our staff have detailed Police Check verifications and First Aid Certificates.

Large Projects
- Edgecliff Sub-Station - Complete roof replacement of AC and DC buildings in a highly sensitive area.
- Central Station - Design and installation of new storm water system to reduce flooding in the tunnels during Sydney's worst storms.
- Edgecliff Station - Total cleanout and map of the entire storm water system with vacuum truck on the bus interchange.
- Central Station - Install tanking tap water lines to feed all country trains across 6 platforms.
- Rail Operation Centre - Complete replacement of entire roof membrane.
Heritage Building
- Central Station - Clock tower restoration works.
- Central Station - Heritage downpipe repairs, relines on external downpipes.
- MacDonaldtown Station - Gutter and downpipe install on heritage building.
- Croydon & Museum Station - Casting new heritage cast iron rain heads and downpipes, and installing on a heritage building.
Possession Weekend Works
- Lidcombe Station - Installation of height safety systems on the roof including static lines, roof platforms and ladder points. Install new guttering and downpipes along the awnings on the platforms and overhead bridge.
- Homebush Station - Replace ULX cast iron section of the main sewer line under the tracks.
- Redfern Station - Multiple possession weekends used over a year to repair, reline and replace sections of the main sewer line.
- Central Station - Repairs to main water supply on the tracks during rail/sleeper replacements.
Investigative Works
- Town Hall Station - Investigation works for all hydraulic services locations in the entire concourse area for water, drainage and fire systems. Locations marked up on CAD drawings for Sydney Trains prior to the concourse refresh program.
- Redfern Station - Multiple investigation works, robotic CCTV, and water jetting of problem areas. Replacing ULX cast iron section under the engine dive rail by removing sleepers.
- Martin Place Station - Multiple investigation works, robotic CCTV, and water jetting of problem areas. Repairs and relining of main sewer line on the concourse.
- Central Station - Devonshire pedestrian tunnel main storm water investigation works. Robotic CCTV & High Pressure Water Jet.
- Homebush Control Centre - Main storm water mapping of entire site.
Refresh Works
- Sydney Signal box - Complete Bathroom upgrades
- Central Station - Complete kitchen, bathroom and laundry upgrades.
