rail operations centre

2022 | ALEXANDRIA, NSW 2015

The Alexandria Rail Operations Centre, the critical hub for train operations in the CBD, faced severe water seepage through its roof slab, skylight panels, and expansion joints. Water-induced electrical interference posed a major risk to the entire rail network. Stones Plumbing Service was engaged to resolve this issue by replacing the deteriorated waterproofing membrane with a new, durable system.

Key Achievements:

  • Comprehensive Repairs: Removal of the failed membrane and installation of a robust waterproofing solution.

  • Network Protection: Ensured the integrity of the Rail Operations Centre, preventing potential disruptions.

  • Ongoing Maintenance: Continued support to safeguard against future waterproofing issues.

This project highlights Stones Plumbing's expertise in delivering critical infrastructure solutions with precision and reliability.
